DAY 01: Valparai
  It is town located on the western ghats, about 105 Km from Coimbatore. It is 1800 m above the sea level. There are about 15 tea factories, several coffee and tea estates, water falls and dams.

Balaji temple

Balaji temple is owned by the Peria Karamalai tea Industries. Situated in Karamalai. Very famous beautiful temple. Situated at a distance of 10kms from Valparai.

   
Chinnakallar Falls
  It is about 26 Km east of Valparai. It is called the Cherrapunji of Tamil Nadu sinceit is the second place in India to receive the maximum rainfall, next to cherrapunji. The hanging bridge built across the falls is full of delight and thrill to cross and the guest house(Govt IB) providers a marvelous stay over there.
   
Nirayar Dam
  It is located in the eastern side of Valparai hills about 20 Km from Valparai town. There are two dams, the lower nerar and the upper nerar which is about 15 Km and 20 Km respectively from Valparai. The water from Chinnakallar falls reaches this dam.

Nallamudi Poonjolai
This is also a beautiful view point. Near by Sangiliroad near Valparai.
Chinnar  
 

South India Kerala Tours - Tours To Chinnar is a large wildlife sanctuary in Kerala. Spread over an area of 90422sq km it was declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1984. Situated in the Western Ghat's rain shadowed portion Chinnar wildlife sanctuary is rich with rare and endangered species. Chinnar has a scanty rainfall for only about 48days. Due to this kind of rainfall and variation in altitude it has a great range of habitats like deciduous forest, dry thorny forest, riparian types, shoals and grasslands along with plains, hillocks, rocks, cliffs etc. The place is near to Eravikulam National park and Anamalai Wildlife sanctuary. Xerophyte species, giant grizzled squirrel and 225 species of birds are the inhabitants of this sanctuary.
